North Knoxville property sold for $7.8 million

A North Knoxville commercial portfolio has been acquired by a Florida investor.

The Harvest Towne Center, at 4840 Harvest Mill Way, was acquired by Coral Springs-based JBL Asset Management. According to a deed filed with Knox County, the deal was valued at $7.8 million.

Harvest Towne is located along Broadway, and the deal includes multiple properties, including freestanding buildings that are home to Ruby Tuesday and Krispy Kreme.

Vacant retail and commercial space at the site has been listed by Brande Benson, of Baker Storey McDonald.

West Knox office property sells for nearly $5 million

1101 Corridor Park

A Florida buyer has paid $4.8 million for a single-tenant office property in West Knox County.

Susquehanna Holdings Company bought the office building at 1101 Corridor Park and an adjoining lot as part of the deal. The building is located east of the U.S. Cellular Soccer Complex, and is leased to Travelers Insurance.

Former WNOX building to be auctioned

WNOX

The former WNOX studio and auditorium is scheduled to hit the auction block later this month.

The 16,106-square-foot building is located at 4400 Whittle Springs Road. According to Knox Heritage, WNOX moved its studios to the property in 1955, and it played host to music programs including The Midday Merry-go-Round.

The auction is scheduled for noon on August 21, and is being presented by Furrow Auction Company in conjunction with Jim Simpson, of Coldwell Banker Commercial.
