For the second year in a row, NAI Knoxville’s James Roberson has been named Industrial Broker of the Year by CCIM.
With 18 deals totaling more than 600,000 square feet, the Greater Knoxville Business Journal reported that Roberson earned the honor at a time when the supply of industrial property is low and demand is high.
“It’s harder putting larger deals together with less supply of real estate and labor,” Roberson said. “You have to get creative.”
Roberson’s transactions in 2016 included representing the seller on a deal for the 225,000-square-foot FXI building, in Morristown; representing the seller on a 120,000-square-foot building in Athens, Tenn.; and representing the seller on a 57,000-square-foot building in Roane County. In addition, the industrial specialist also earned the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors designation last year.
