A former industrial building near the Standard Knitting Mill has been purchased by developer Jeffrey Nash.
The Courtland Group paid $285,000 for the property at 1132 N. Sixth Avenue, according to a deed filed with Knox County.
Nash said he plans to develop four office suites in the building, which he said was built in 1926. “It has wonderful bones, and it affords a lot of parking, which is one of the things that isn’t overly in abundance downtown,” Nash said.
